Spigot rings are assisting to allign the wheel center axis to the center of the axle. Otherwise the wheel would be off center and the car is shaking and bouncing when driving. Against public rumors the wheel is not loaded on the spigot ring when driving. Once the lugbolts are tightened the wheel is pressed against the wheel hub.
Three messurements are neccessary to find the correct spigot ring:
- The inner diameter. The car axle provides a hub centering device to locate the wheel. Unfortunately every manufacturer is using their individual diameter. Pleae choose the diameter according your car from the list of below.
- Which diameter is the center bore in your wheel? The spigot ring should be 0,1mm undsize the bore of your wheel.
- There are different chamfers on the spigot rings. You find a chamfer at the CB of your wheel. This chamfer should fit the spigot ring. The spigot must sit inside the naive face of the wheel. If it protrudes the wheel will not fush the wheel hub. And the wheel could come loose!
These Spigot rings fit wheels with 67,1mm centre bore. The wheels must have a chamfer of 4,8mm minimum. Please select the centre location from the list below.
